Carmel Convent, Illinois

Carmel Convent is located in a suburb of the city of Chicago, the third largest city in the United States. Our sisters serve in parish ministry for the St. Thomas Syro Malabar Cathedral community. The Cathedral includes members from all of the Syro Malabar dioceses in India. We direct the catechism program, coordinate the Adoration chapel, assist with ward prayers, visit families, organize vocation awareness programs, and help with office administration. Our ministries help to serve the needs of our Syro Malabar families at all stages of life. We also serve as nurses in a local nursing home.

St. Gerald’s Convent, Illinois

St. Gerald’s Convent is located in a suburb of the city of Chicago, the third largest city in the United States. Our sisters serve as teachers at St. Walter-St. Benedict Schools, St. Gerald School, and St. Ethelreda School. We also teach catechism at the Syro Malabar Cathedral and give sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. We share the joy of religious life by assisting with youth formation, retreats, and conferences.

Carmel Convent, Philadelphia

Carmel Convent is located in Philadelphia, the largest city in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania and the sixth-most populous U.S. city. Our sisters serve as nurses at Holy Redeemer Nursing Home which has a proud reputation of providing excellent rehabilitation, assisted living, nursing, Alzheimer’s, and hospice care. We are blessed to serve the people of God through our healing ministry.

Our Lady Of Good Health Convent, (Colorado)

Our Lady of Good Health Convent is located in Colorado Springs, the second-most populous city in the state of Colorado. Our sisters serve as nurses and pastoral care associates at a local magnet hospital. Our sisters are actively engaged in a variety of pastoral ministries.

Carmel Convent, (Baltimore)

Carmel Convent is located on the western border of the city of Baltimore, the most populous city in the state of Maryland. Our sisters serve in the nursing ministry in the local hospital as well as parish ministry.

Carmel Convent (IJK), Florida

We are located in Florida, the southeasternmost state in the US. We serve in the nursing ministry, caring for the sick and the needy. We also serve in schools and parish ministry, teaching catechism and providing spiritual counselling.

St. Michael’s Convent, Indiana

St. Michael’s convent is located in the state of Indiana in the Midwestern region of the US. Our sisters serve as nurses at a Franciscan hospital, at Deer Creek Nursing Home, and in the infirmary of Our Lady of Angels’ Convent in Mishawaka with the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration. We also serve in the teaching ministry at St. Michael’s School and serve as catechists at St. Michael Parish and the Syro Malabar Cathedral.

Carmel Convent, Wisconsin

Carmel Convent is located in a suburb of Milwaukee, the largest city in the state of Wisconsin. We serve in nursing and pastoral care at the St. Camillus nursing home run by the St. Camillus priests. We bring Holy Communion to the sick, comfort the dying, arrange sacraments, and use the Word of God to console the suffering. We also try to pray for the families of the residents and help them in their various needs.

Carmel Convent, Texas

Carmel Convent is located in Texas, the second largest state in the US. We serve as nurses in the Christus Trinity Mother Frances hospital. We also help in the parish by serving as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, visiting families, and facilitating prayer meetings.

Carmel Convent, Canada

Carmel Convent is our first convent established in the country of Canada. We work in many different departments of the diocese, including catechism, pious associations, Legion of Mary, sacramental preparation, family visits, spiritual guidance for women and children, and visiting the homebound. We also plan and implement youth activities for YMC (Young Ministers of Christ), organize children’s retreats, and coordinate home missions in the parishes. We are blessed to be able to assist with many vibrant ministries in a new mission area in North America.
